The news broke yesterday that Eric Morales reportedly tested positive for Clenbuterol. USADA [United States Anti Drug Agency] reported issues with a drug test taken by Morales. It is still 100% unclear whether the Danny Garcia-Eric Morales fight will take place this Saturday at the brand new Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, NY. While Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaeffer insists all parties will await the outcome of Morales' “B” sample, the New York State Athletic Commission has yet to weigh in on the matter.

Unless the USADA is hiding other information from us, I expect this fight to go through. Fact is Clenbuterol is present in many Mexican people (not just athletes) all across Mexico. Clenbuterol is used as a "growth agent" in order to make the animals, i.e. pigs and cows, bigger!!! Again, so long as GBP and the USADA aren't hiding any other information from us, this really is no big deal!!!

Clenbuterol is a strange one, for the reasons people have said already. It one of the hormones that is commonly used in animals to promote growth, and positive results can be had by consuming animals in which clenbuterol has been used. Also, its commonly used in inhalers, so if El Terrible has a prescription for an inhaler, this issue could be resolved swiftly.
