Last week, BoxingScene.com published a story where Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, discussed several items that were related to his promotional adversary, Golden Boy Promotions, and their CEO Richard Schaefer.

One item in particular was related to a potential unification fight between super bantamweight champions Nonito Donaire and Abner Mares.

Schafer owned Arum. He is right, the sensible fight fans have nothing good to say about Arum.

damn shaefer owned the *** out of arum... bradley isnt fighting dec. 15th cause they have no fighters (period) and this is because arum refuses to do any business with golden boy...

even if mares where to leave to golden boy, he's really not that big of a deal and neither is that division... the money right now is at 147/154 and golden boy has a chokehold on that
