    Top flyweight Ava "Lady of Boxing" Knight (10-1-3, 5KOs) won the Diamond Belt of the World Boxing Council (WBC, for its acronym in English) with a ten unanimous decision over Mariana "La Barbie" Juarez (35-6-3, 16KOs) at the Palace of Sports in Mexico City. Knight controlled the action with hard hooks to the head and the body from the first round, as she looked to overwhelm Juarez. The scores were 97-93, 97-93 and 96-94).

          Good fight, Barbie had a terrible strategy and that's why she lost. It would be nice to see a rematch in the USA.

              no shock at all, i predicted ava would win in another thread
              juazrez has had a long career and looked to be slowing down, it was kind of pathetic how they paraded her around the ring like if she had won at the end
