According to Hungarian outlet monokli, former WBO light heavyweight and WBC cruiserweight champ Zsolt Erdei has announced his retirement. Erdei, 38-years-old, goes out undefeated at 33-0 and stopped Byron Mitchell in his last outing. has some split or mayority decisions on his record though...

Erdei definitely wasnt a bum, he was very good. Not an ATG or anything, but a good fighter. and I dont remember a gift decision for him, although he might have gotten one. But not as many as other germans.

He is Hungarian, not German. But you are right, decent talent. He just ruined his reputation by fighting one awful opponent after another the last few years he held a 175lb belt.
