  • Comments Thread For: Decarie, DiBella Target a Robert Guerrero Showdown

Canadian welterweight contender Antonin Decarie (27-1, 8KOs) had a very impressive victory on Saturday night. He made his HBO televised debut and stopped previously undefeated Alex Perez in the sixth round. He wants to make his HBO return in the near future. One fighter he would love to face is WBC interim-champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (30-1-1, 18KOs).

Sounds like a great fight if they can make it happen.

HAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAA...The Ghost doesnt need another no-name foreign fighter on his resume. Not happening. Forget about it.

Meh...There's much better fights out there for Guerrero at 147.

That's a good fight for Guerrero. Not sure why it should happen, though (other than Decarie coming off a TKO win - I don't think much of him). There are better options out there. I think Guerrero vs Kell Brook is a very interesting fight. Decarie - Aydin would be a good test for Decarie....I'd have Aydin in that fight, though.

No way Ghost fights Decarie next. He is looking for bigger names, and I believe he will be getting one in his next fight.

DiBella is a bipolar guy I see. He was talking smack about Schaeffer two days ago and now he wants to work with GBP.

This would be an entertaining fight but I really doubt Guerrero would take this fight, he has bigger plans and a loss to this guy would set him back.
