Frank Warren has told Scott Harrison to be patient and keep working for a return to world title action after the former champion continued his comeback with a points win in Glasgow on Saturday night.
Harrison, who won 10 world titles at featherweight before a six-and-a-half-year absence from the sport, most of which was spent in a Spanish jail, was underwhelmed after the six-round contest against Joe Elfidh.
Harrison put his 32-year-old Nottinghamshire opponent down in the first round but lacked a spark in the rest of the contest, not showing the speed and determination to finish the job that marked his first comeback fight.
