Comments Thread For: Cameron To Danny Green: I've Never Lost To an Aussie

Finally, it's on. Shane Cameron's power versus Danny Green's speed.

Those contrasting styles will come to blows in a trans-Tasman battle for the vacant IBO world cruiserweight title in Melbourne on November 21.

Cameron, the underdog battler, feels he has earned this chance after years of toil.

"Ever since I started boxing it was my dream to fight for a world title," an enthusiastic Cameron told Fairfax Media.

This is not a world title! IBO belt is a joke, don't want to sound offensive but aussies and new zealanders i hope you dont fall for this "world title" rubbish.

Fans would rather see Jones vs Lateef for the IBO Title. One thing is for sure. If Green happens to win the belt, he won't have it long because Tarver or Roy Jones may travel back down under to take that title.

Jesus, this writer is pathetic, calling Green a "a three-time cruiserweight champion" trying to become the first Aussie to win four titles. What three cruiserweight titles did Green win? It's silly enough to call the IBO belt a real won, but he got KO'd the only time he fought for a real cruiser belt
