Unbeaten flyweight Miguel Diaz will fight Joseph Rios in a scheduled eight round bout on September 21st, Thompson Boxing Promotions General Manager Alex Camponovo told Boxingscene.com on last Wednesday.
The bout will headline a “Path to Glory” card and will take place at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario , CA .
Diaz (9-0, 4 KOs ) stopped Evaristo Primero in the sixth round of his last fight on July 20th. Prior to his bout against Primero, the Allentown , PA resident won a hard-fought eight round unanimous decision over Austreberto Juarez on March 10th.
