  • Comments Thread For: Jamie Moore is Considering Potential Return To Boxing

Former British, Commonwealth and European light-middleweight title holder and now Sky pundit Jamie Moore has told WBN that he is mulling over a return to boxing after almost two and a half years away from the sport.

The 33 year-old retired in April 2010 as back-to-back losses to Ryan Rhodes and Siarhei Khomitski ended his world title dream and the Salford fighter is now assessing his fitness ahead of the possible reigniting of his ring career.

“Yes, I have been considering coming out of retirement,” Moore exclusively told World Boxing News. [Click Here To Read More]

Who cares? The guy is a thug, I've had the unfortunate experience of being out drinking with him, what an idiot, gives boxers a bad name.

Really? He comes across as a decent guy on TV.

I don't see the point in him coming back. He was pretty average at his peak.

Yeah, off camera he is your typical Salford scum bag. Intimidating everyone and anyone to try and show his mates how 'hard' he is, trying to stare out complete strangers etc etc. Not a nice bloke really.

Didnt know that and am genuinley surprised to hear it. On sky he comes across as a good lad with a sense of humour. Quite bright aswel which is why I expect he got teh job working for them. If he is a bully then he doesnt come across as such on TV.

I was ringside when he got knocked out by Scot Dixon at the Velodrome on a Hatton undercard. Not a bad fighter. He did spark Mackiln better than Martinez did. He also looks in great condition even though hes retired. Comapred with Chavez who is on the verge of a superfight and looks like a fat lazy teenager. I would welcome a Moore comaback and see if I can spot clues about his personality next time he is on the box.

                Moore shouldn't return.

Had a good run which was ended by Rhodes in a great fight, returned in a must-win fight and lost via corner retirement.

                    ABSOLUTE RUBBISH.

I’ve known Jamie Moore for over 10 years and have been out on the town numerous times, he is NOTHING of the sort.

If you’re going to type such pathetic crap then do it somewhere else.

                    IDIOT.
