    Gary Shaw, the American promoter for IBF/WBA middleweight champion Daniel Geale (28-1, 15KOs), admits he was shocked when German superstar Felix Sturm (37-3-2, 16KOs) refused to have a rematch clause in their fight contract. On Saturday night at the Koenig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Geale ended the long reign of Sturm with a twelve round split decision. It was the first loss for Sturm since 2006.

      I always liked sturm inside the ring. Wasn't crazy about who he fought, but I understand you've got to get paid. Too bad he went out like this. Props to the Aussie. Golovkin is going to spank him up. Hope the fight happens in December. And hope its in new York, except this time in the city. Last night's fight was far as hell.

          Good so nothing should prevent Geale/Golovkin then!!! Am shocked Geale got the decision because to be honest anyone of sturm's last 4 opponents could have got a decision over him..

                  GGG' style is all wrong for GEALE who stays in front of you exchanging shots,GOLOVKIN will be super WBA,IBF,IBO middleweight champion IMO! N'Jikam vs Quillin is another great fight so MARTINEZ after beat CHAVEZ JR. will have his big paydays he deserves without looking for FLOYD JR. or CANELO!!!

                      Geale is an underated boxer but lacks the pop to be considered among the best but there's more to the sport than powerpunching

                                  This is how the sport is supposed to be. How can there be so many champions at one weight? Get rid of the alphabet soup already. All pro sports have 1 champion! Even the Olympics only has 1 Gold Medalist.

                                      Hope this fight gets made. It's one I'd really like to see. Golovkin with big power, and Geale with a great jab and quickness.
