Comments Thread For: Golovkin-Proksa, Sturm-Geale is an Interesting Double

Our expert Derek Bilton is keen on the chances this weekend of Gennady Golovkin and Felix Sturm.

'Hunger knows no friend but its feeder'. So mused the old comic playwright of ancient Greece Aristophanes.

This weekend WBA world middleweight champion Golovkin makes his US debut against European champion Grzegorz Proksa in New York.

It's an intriguing fight and should tell us plenty about how good Golovkin, a native of Kazakhstan now living and fighting out of Germany, really is. [Click Here To Read More]

I'm just glad September has some good fights lined up. I'm hungry.

Golovkin also beat Daniel Geale as an amateur which seems pertinent considering the article.

I really hope this fight is worth the 5 hour drive! If not, hopefully the casino will be nice to me.

Damn, I didn't realize how much little time Proksa had to prepare for this fight. This dude has BALLS, win or lose. I won't even be mad if he loses/I lose my points.
