Buffalo Run Casino, Miami, Oklahoma - Fought at a catch-weight of 170-pounds, Donovan George (23-2-1, 20KOs) stopped Dionisio Miranda (21-8-2, 18KOs) after six rounds of action. Miranda was a late-replacement for Adonis Stevenson, who withdrew with a hand injury. [Click Here To Read More]

Boxing is such a tough, but beautiful sport. George trains for a southpaw, Miranda takes the fight on 5 days notice. Miranda isn't in shape, and George is. George now has to change his game plan, and fight a spoiler...and gets the win. If you are not at championship level, I'd suggest that you stay in shape.

Yeah Miranda is the epitome of a fighter looking for a paycheck. So out of shape he gassed out & quit the fight. Molina got the shutout tonight. It will be interesting to see whats up next for Molina after another ugly yet effective outing.

Good fight by Molina even though it was a one sided fight. I was more interested in getting Teddy Atlas's take on that crazy fight in the Olympics where the guy went down six times in the round and won the fight that Joe Tessitore wanted to get his opinion on.

For all the skill that Molina has and Teddy pointed out, I bet he'd trade a bit in for some pop. Molina landed a lot and only dazed him at best. George was lucky Adonis broke his hand. Miranda ran out of gas, Adonis won't. I don't see George winning that, he looked so so and got clubbed a lot against a late sub with a weak record.

True story. Alot of the guys who hang around a while at that level are also gym ****, it would behoove you as a fighter to always be in shape and not be too far from weight. Never know when that phone's gonna ring and you get your shot.
