Former junior featherweight titleholder Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 22 after an altercation with a couple that led to charges against all three involved, according to Puerto Rican newspaper El Nuevo Dia.

The alleged incident happened this past Friday at a mall in Bayamon. Vazquez, a man named Joshua Cuadrado and a woman named Libniria Berrios Rivera each have been charged with one count of simple assault and one count of disturbing the peace.

Hey Wilfredo Vazquez did the right thing, you got people that are low class that are always looking to start crap, but Vazquez is a gentleman, I'm sure he could have hurt those people pretty bad, but since people know him, he didn't want this crap getting in the news, and it did, but no negative stuff.

Well put , the way i look at it is i dont go about hitting anyone and if i was to go about hitting folk id full expect to be hit back. I wouldnt be proud of myself for doing it but if it came to it then id put the candy on them
