by Jake Donovan - Bantamweights and middleweights kick things off on the men's side. Joseph Diaz Jr. of Team USA was the first boxer to have his hand raised in Olympic competition, soundly outpointing Ukraine's bantamweight Pavlo Ischenko by a score of 19-9.

It doesn't matter, about scoring that is. England will probably win more gold than ever before. Somehow the home team always does well in Olympic boxing. Good fights so far though. I'm just waiting for the controversy and Teddy will be on top of it for sure. He may be opinionated, but he gives an honest call, he believes what he says.
