    BoxingScene.com has been advised that WBA featherweight champion Chris John (47-0-2, 22KOs) will defend his title on September 29th in Singapore. The opponent has yet to be announced. John, who seems like he's been around forever, is only 32-years-old. He makes the 17th defense of his title which he captured in 2003.

                john neds2 stop hiding out in Singapore, Jakarta & the rest of asia & box any1 credible & & elite in the division, which he hasn't...he has s kills that he exhibits vs second tier guys, avoiding the elite...he's not the best in the division...

                    he's a true gun, the issue is that yanks don't like ppl who aren't from there area in general...with pacman being an exception and it took him a while too, thanks to him being very explosive and KO'ing other champs...

                    other top skilfull fighters from asia and Europe etc will never be respected in the US - for some strange reason, must be arrogance....but its very sad to see a top P4P fighter like Chris John not even be talked about. He has beaten many guns including JMM - I watched that fight and John schooled him...but the ppl over in the US/Mexico refuse to acknowledge and or talk about that loss on JMM's record....and if they ever do, they smoke it by saying 'controversial decision'....load of crap!!
