London super-heavyweight contender Anthony Joshua insists even an Olympic gold medal will not necessarily hasten his departure into the professional ranks after the Games.

The Finchley 22-year-old has shrugged off a series of offers from top promoters since rising to prominence when he came within one point of being crowned world amateur champion in Baku last year.

He's young so he's got time but not enough to stay for the next Olympics.

Would like to see him turn professional after the games, hopefully a sucessful one, going under the tutelage of a top trainer. He's relatively new to the amateur scene and has become a success quick, he's still learning and only a top pro trainer is good enough.

Even if he turns professional in 2 years at 24, think that's still a good age to begin in the paid ranks. Ultimately, I think the paid ranks will be too great to resist if he has a successful tournament in London.

Can't wait for the day he turns pro. He's won over 30 amateurs fights and lost around 3. Runner Up at the World Championships.

Dillians amateur record - Dillians first fight was the more experienced and now Olympic Gold medal prospect Anthony Joshua Dillian knocked Anthony down and won comfortably on points. He had another 6 fights as amateur stoppin 5 including putting one in a coma (recovered) in Sweden. After that the BBBoC pulled his license so he turned professional.

In the past he has sparred with David Haye, Dereck Chisora, David Price, Tom Dallas,Julius Francis,Danny Williams,John Mcdemott,Mark Potter and over the last few months he has been one of the main sparring partners for Tyson Fury.
He also regularly trained with MMA big names like Quentin "Rampage" Jackson and Alistair Overeem.
