    It has not been officially announced, but Polish sources indicate that undefeated cruiserweight Mateusz Masternak, 27-0, will take on Enad Licina, 21-4, on the undercard to Yoan Pablo Hernandez vs. Troy Ross on September 15 in Bamberg.

    I thought Licina has retired? So hes comming back for a last little paycheck i guess.

      I hadn't heard anything about Licina retiring. He's still ranked at Boxrec, which usually removes a retired fighter immediately.

      I am also not sure that I agree with the author's characterizations about the fighters. I think Masternak is likely bound for at least the middle of the top 10 before anyone halts his progress, and I think it's possible he could eventually be among the top dogs. And I don't think Licina is an underachiever. I think he just happens to have found his ceiling in terms of where his talent can take him. It just so happens to be outside the top 10.
