Win or lose, Donovan George became an instant fan favorite on Monday afternoon.

The Chicagoland super middleweight helped bring an end to the long and exhausting search for an opponent willing to face Canadian southpaw Adonis Stevenson. Such a bout came with the reward of a mandatory title shot for the winner, along with the privilege of it airing live on Showtime.

Wouldn't expect anything less from Don.

Only if George doesn't touch him on that sweet spot on the chin like Boone did when he got rid of Stevenson. Also, Stevenson is 34 years old. Not exactly a spring chicken.

I really like Don George and Adonis Stevenson. This should be an early win for someone. Adonis has unreal power but he's also been put away by Boone.
