BoxingScene.com has been advised that Johan Perez (15-0-1, 12KOs) vs. Pablo Cesar Cano (24-1-1, 19KOs), taking place on July 21st in Mexico, could have the full WBA 140-pound title on the line. The World Boxing Association is going to make a final ruling in the next few days. Perez is the WBA's interim-champion at 140 and Marcos Maidana is the "regular" champion, but Maidana recently moved up to 147-pounds and does not appear to be moving back down in the near future.
