Comments Thread For: Viloria vs. Marquez in Play For September 29, October 6

Promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions has confirmed that there are ongoing negotiations for a fight between Hernan "Tyson" Marquez and WBO flyweight champion Brian Viloria. Beltran indicates the current negotiations have made it impossible to work out a fight with Marquez's WBA mandatory, interim-champion Juan Carlos Reveco of Argentina.

Good fight, hopefully they can make it happen. The winner can continue the unification progress with Mthalane and finally Jaro for the undisputed flyweight championship

I'll favor Marquez, but it should be fireworks. Gotta give props to Viloria though, he is consistently taking on the best.

Arum needs to put this fight on the Chavez-Martinez undercard.

            forget Macklin and Rigo

            Chavez vs Martinez

            Viloria vs Marquez

            Rios vs Alvarado

that would be an amazing card, just straight up war!

not that I don't like Macklin or Rigo but not too many avaliable middleweights for Macklin and if Rigo isn't fighting Donaire, I don't really care if he gets dropped from the card.

plus that's a card mexicans would love
