I was ringside for Williams-Martinez II, and watched that vicious hook that flattened Williams. However, I am not sure that Martinez can do that to Chavez. Chavez is so big and has a very good chin. If Paul Williams was a blown up welter/jr. middle, then Chavez is a shrunken down lt. heavy/cruiserweight.

I think he has incredible stamina and will likely win a decision (unless it's in TX), but he has to watch out for ring size, glove choices, shady judge choices, all of which can be put in place to give JCC an unfair advantage. This fight went from a foregone conclusion to a very intriguing matchup. If they don't rob him, I say Martinez by split or unanimous. I don't see a KO at all.

Julito is going to receive a lot of punishment but he inherited his dad chin, and he punches hard. I still think Martinez conditioning is going to pull through, he always slows down in the middle rounds to come back harder in the late rounds.
