Dean Powell, the matchmaker for Frank Warren Promotions, has told BoxingScene that rumours of a meeting between Frankie Gavin and Ronnie Heffron on the undercard of David Haye versus Dereck Chisora are just that at the moment. Powell also confirmed that further details of the July 14 Upton Park bill will be announced at a press conference in London on Tuesday.

i wander how many guys are scared of losing their BBBC license if they take part in the card.

They need to put a decent undercard on for this fight, it will pay off if it gets the Boxnation sub figures up. Having said that I guess most casual fans that subscribe will only be interested in Haye vs Chisora.

I just hope this crap with the BBB of C doesn't intimidate people into refusing to take part. Their recent statement shows they're not confident of their position, so hopefully fighters and their teams will step up.

hopefully they put something worthy on.. it's deserves a serious undercard.. but technically they dont need fork out big bucks for the undercard.. the main event sells it alone.. so i'd be surprised if it's anything noteworthy.
