Comments Thread For: Arum Outraged Over Pacquiao Loss: It Wasn't Even Close!

Boxing promoter Bob Arum was outraged and "felt ashamed" by the split decision giving Timothy Bradley a win over Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao on Saturday, but said it was the result of incompetence, not corruption. Arum said "this wasn't a close fight" and the decision was "not good for the sport of boxing."

He's outraged alright, outraged that he didn't think of these scheme earlier. He's essentially tied Pacquiao to in house fights for the remainder of his career. Bradley will take up 2012/2013, with Marquez in 2013.

By 2014 Pacquiao will be shot and fed to someone like Brandon Rios. Even if he has enough fight left in him he will rob him.

"This is a death knell for boxing, and I'm going to make a ton of money on the rematch," Arum said.
