)Henry Armstrong....when they fought he wasnt in the form he was from the mid 30s-1940. He had the style, chin, strength, and activity to outwork and outmuscle Robinson. Who could fight good on the inside but could be hit there more often than on the outside and would need more room to let off effective shots
2) Kid Gavilan-I dont think Gavilan was at his peak 1951 til 1954 and hadnt filled out at the weight having started as a bantamweight. His activity slickness and style would Trouble Robinson.
)Charley Burley-from what I have seen of him and his resume he was a great contender 147-175 and beat alot of great fighters was #! contender at 147 and 160 and never got a shot at a title. He was one of the most elusive well schooled guys Ive watched and also had a great punch.
)Ray Leonard- Leonard was a great all arounder like Robinson but was a little more slicker with less power....He'd have a shot if he tried to outbox Robinson who was always used to having an edge in power and movement while mixing it up at times to gain his respect
)Tommy Hearns-would be a tall task for anyone at 147. the Power, speed, and the jab....I could see SRR maybe stopping him but Hearns could just as well hurt or ko Robinson. Hearns had a punchers chance and if he chose to box he'd have a chance to win. Lets not forget although fast with a good jab and speed, Robinson was no Ray Leonard or Willie Pep on defense and often got tagged by smaller slower fighters
