This is what I thought as well. Not trying to be a dick or anything, but the truth is the truth.

      And 168 isn't a catchweight.

      Damn, man...

Cotto wanted the fight at 145lbs

Pacquiao is also criticed for fighting De La Hoya at 147lbs, not a catchweight also.

Cotto was wanted the fight at 145lbs and Marg was more than happy for the fight to be at 150lbs.

Dawson also made this offer not because it was best for him but to get Ward to bite.

They are fighting at a real weight class and it was Chad's idea.
Pacquiao is crticised for fighting Oscar as well, that was at 147lbs and it was Oscar's idea.

OMG, D4, can you even read & understand. Cotto insisted he will not go below 145. Meaning Pacman was trying to get him lower, dimwit, lol!! Pacman wanted him at 143, true self ownage.

              Rubbish post.

              Sorry, forgot.

So it was a struggle for Cotto to drop a 1lbs from his previous fight and Margarito to go up 3 lbs from his career weight, but it is a walk in the park fro Dawson to drop 7lbs from his career weight?

Yes Cotto said he wanted the fight at 145lbs.

And guess what Pacquiao said ok

Cotto wanted it, he said he could make it, just like Dawson.

No Cotto said he would go no lower than 145. Cotto wanted the fight at 147. But you still do not get it I see.

                    lol dude come on. seriously?

did it ever cross your mind, that, I dono, maybe, just MAYBE, pac shoulda just fought him at 147? people are complaining that a 145 catchweight was ridiculous (which it was), and your argument is "should pac have made cotto come down to 140, would that have been better?" even you cannot fail to see how idiotic this sounds. you dont even mention 147. why?

Depends, is it for the Light Heavyweight title? If Ward wins is he going to boast around as if he is a true Light Heavyweight champion?
