From the moment their fight was inked, the June 2 cruiserweight showdown between Antonio Tarver and Lateef Kayode has been billed as a grudge match.

The seeds for the rivalry were planted well over a year ago during a Showtime “Shobox” broadcast. Tarver - who serves an announcer for the series – was critical of Kayode during his Feb. ’11 fight with Nicholas Ianuzzi, a fight in which Kayode won a very unpopular ten-round decision.

Like I've said, Kayode fights like a robot with a bad motherboard and as long as Tarver does not languish on the ropes, he'll win.

Calling him a bum! This guy has no basic fundamentals and has no business in with an elite fighter such as Tarver. He made so many mistakes in a fight I saw, I just went to sleep. This will either be a beat down or stoppage period!
