On June 8th, former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik will return to the ring when he faces off with newfound rival Scott Sigmon at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight serves as a bit of an appetizer to the blockbuster Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley melee one night later at the MGM Grand.

    11 YEARS huh?

If Pavlik can stay focused he will really shake up things at 168. A lot of good fights on the horizon.

Haaa...Pavlik dropping his old crew was a good movie, kids gotta chin and can last 12 rounds with anyone..just stay off the Jameson and Benny Blanco and this boy should be in a rematch with Serg

Him moving to CA to train with Garcia and him backing out of Bute's lowball offer were good career moves. He seems sober, more focused and in better shape these days. Plus he's around young hungry fighters who probably motivate him like crazy. As far as that Bute fight offer, I think he still could have beat him but the chances weren't too good with his mental/physical state at the time. A loss would have dropped his name value a lot and the mediocre payday wasn't worth it. I'll admit I was upset when he turned down that fight but now it seems like a blessing in disguise. Hope to see him in against a top contender by the end of this year or early next. Rooting for The Ghost!

Its hard to back up Kelly. He just keeps dissapointing with his personal antics.

He hasn't been consistent enough. Only time will tell

He's going to destroy Sigmon. I've seen the kid box... he's going to be crucified. Definitely no more than 5 rounds

Win or lose, coming back after an eleven-year hiatus should earn Pavlik comeback of the year award for sure.

Pavlik looks different, he must be on drugs again.
