I still dont like this for Khan if he truly wants to fight Floyd next. Its the same way I felt about Rios after the Gamboa fight got called off. After that fight was over, I said that Rios should fight at 140 for the fill in. They only reason you stayed down was to fight Gamboa so why fight Abril at that weight after Gamboa backed out?

Move up like you wanted to. The Khan sitaution is different because he obviously doesnt struggle to make weight like Rios but he still keeps talking non stop about Floyd next or other guys at WW so why not just move up now after the Peterson fight was scrapped?

Garcia's a much better fight than Abril though, however if he fights Floyd next then he's an idiot. If GBP really want him to fight Floyd next then this fight should be at WW, no question

But the're still good fights...Khan will school Garcia that's a fact...Khan has to much experience in title fights...and I'm most certain Khan would get a heavy share of the money...

Not enough time to readjust his training etc and grow into a 147 frame naturally. He's been training to fight at 140, it would be silly to rush the jump up.

nah, I already thought about that. Its not a huge adjustment. Its not like he's small. He's a tall guy and I dont expect him to fight someone great. Its more about adjusting to the weight to me. He probably was still over the WW limit anyways by time the fight was called off. Its not like he was around 139 or something. Most camps are 8 weeks anyways. He had plenty of time to adjust to WW

I def give Garcia props if he takes a big challenge for his first defense. Khan seems too quck for Garcia but timing can work well

I really want to see this fight but I definitely think Garcia needs to fight Olusegun first. That man has been waiting for his mando shot. Knowing boxing though, Con Garcia will happen.
