NEW YORK -- HBO SportsŪ reported today that 1.5 million pay-per-view buys were generated from the May 5 super welterweight title fight between Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The fight was promoted by Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions.

Sounds about right, for what these two should have generated as far as PPV buys. Lol, ten years ago people would have flipped out about over numbers like this between two jr. middleweights. Instead we'll have dozens of people in this thread saying this is a disappointment.
