Comments Thread For: Thomas Oosthuizen vs. Marcus Johnson Early SHO Results

By Jake Donovan - A tripleheader is in store for Friday's edition of Showtime's Shobox: The New Generation, airing live from Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma.

The main event features rising super middleweight prospect Thomas "Tommy Gun" Oosthuizen (18-0-1, 13KO) in his U.S televised debut against Shobox alum Marcus Johnson (21-1, 15KO). Oosthuizen is based out of South Africa, but fought stateside for the first time last September on the non-televised undercard of Andre Berto's stoppage win over Jan Zaveck.

Very entertaining fights! Awesome learning experience for Del Valle.
Martin was very slick! Props to him for fighting his way back from that bad knock down.
That left hook was a thing of beauty!!

I can't wait to watch more of Oosthuizen and Chilemba two great prospects from the South African boxing scene.

          Pedraza was ok

Del Valle looked good against a good fighter in Martin so he's definetly on the way up

Osthuizen is going to be a tough out for anyone outside of the elite and even though it's unlikely Pavlik-Oosthuizen would be a all action bout the SA gets hit with right hands fairly regularly but is willing and able to fight where and whenever he has to
