    The wheels are turning to finalize a potential junior middleweight eliminator, as ordered by the WBC, between top contenders Erislandy Lara (16-1-1, 11KOs) and Vanes Martirosyan (32-0, 20KOs). The winner would become the mandatory challenger to the title currently held by Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (39-0-1, 29KOs), who defends his belt at the MGM Grand on May 5th against former three division champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley.

                  Would be huge if Top Rank accepted or made a reasonable counter offer.

                  It should be pretty obvious to everyone that Top Rank are the ones that don't want to work with GBP.

                      one of two things will happen here;

                      1) TR will attempt to put a spin things through the media to make it look like Lara don't want the fight; or

                      2) TR will come out of this looking bad.

                      I'm personally going with both the above

                          It has more to do with the fighters. Top Rank presents the offer to Vanes and if he wants more money or rejects the fight, its out of TR's hands. They can't force him to fight.

                                  Sooooo whats the "offer"?

                                  Obviously the offer must bind Canelo to the winner, and i doubt GBP would do that before a Floyd fight

                                      Did anyone else notice that Lara was announced as The Punisher when he fought last weekend hahahahaha.... outstanding.

                                      The kid doesn't stand a chance against Lara. He's still avoiding the Ouma rematch.
