Chances are slim to none he beats him on the cards, let alone knock him out. Mijares is not known for any real knockout power. He is on a 3 fight KO/KD streak though, but that was different opposition...

I remember Mijares used to be an internet darling 4 years ago. Even I started to fall for his hype. Why is Donaire even fighting him? He's so irrelevant now.

I don't know. That's why it's hard to like Donaire. The guy has fought 2 legit fights in his last 9 (if he does fight Mijares), and people talk about him like he's the 2nd coming.

Why isn't Donaire at least fighting Terrazas, who beat Montiel. Or Mathebula, who at least beat Ndlovu, is a Top 10 SBW and has a title???

Donaire gets way way way too many passes from people on here.
