    I don't see why he wouldn't take this. He isn't going to get a really good or big fight. Vicente Escobedo would have been a good fight, with Escobedo in line to fight Adrien Broner this year.

      vs Martinez Cherry looked old, slow w/no combos...good bout 4 Broner...no 1 can consider him anything close to a contender based on his pathetic performance last weekend...

        Fights that make sense? Sounds like someone wants to start "Cherry" picking. Cherry had a hard time beating a ham and egger. That couldn't have influenced Cherry's handlers in this matter. Could it?

          That stinks that would have been an entertaining fight. Not that bad a spot for Cherry either, I don't think he would win but if he beat Escobedo he would really be in the mix at 130.
