WBO European champion Arthur Abraham (34-3, 27KOs) is ready for the challenge of facing full WBO king Robert Stieglitz (41-2, 23KOs). BoxingScene.com reported on Wednesday that British boxer George Groves (14-0, 11KOs) was removed from the mandatory position - and the sanctioning organization approved Abraham (34-3, 27KOs) as the new mandatory challenger to Stieglitz. Good for AA but he doesn't deserve that title shot. There are plenty of top fighters who were overlooked because of Abraham's namesake and European draw power. Gotta love these BS sanctioning bodies! -

hmm, easy to say if your also a....german.
this is just another sven ottke in my view, his record shows no names with credibility and all in germany.
abrahams view on gg losing to this ponk would be correct if the fight went the distance as nobody gets the nod there except one fight that i can remember where the flambouyant chris eubank beat darius mishchhehski? or whatever his name is over the twelve.
abraham is at a turning point in his career(already because hes sheeit)and gettin lemon about gg will not gain kudos on this side of the drink.
his selections of opponent have dropped a level because everyone at world level has beaten him already.
georgey groves and this fellahs fight could have gone either way i think but, george will already know that.
hes got his feet on the ground and adam booth will make a sound decision on whos next and you can be sure that it will not be anybody hes already beaten twice. (SCOFF SCOFF SCOFF) L.O.VERY.L!
i dont see abraham offering to take on the saint, hmmmm...strange that....Comment

I've lost alot of respect for George Groves though, I really did like him but he drops out of this fight and doesn't even get this world title bid rescheduled?
Are you actually even kidding me he doesn't even name his damn injury but he is fighting on June the 6th against who?
None other than Kenny Anderson!!
George Groves was getting cold feet and I don't care what anyone says he's really shown himself up here and I don't like it one bit!
He knew if he did beat Robert he'd of had to fight Abraham, one person from Britain you'd never see such cowardice from is a man I wasn't rooting for when Groves fought him!!
