    According to the management of Vic Darchinyan (37-5-1, 27KOs), a protest has been lodged with respect to the recent decision loss to WBC super bantamweight champion Shinsuke Yamanaka (16-0), which took place on April 6th in Tokyo, Japan. The scores were 117-111, 116-112 and 116-112 - all for Yamanaka. Darchinyan's team outlined their reasons for the protest iwith the below graph.

    Uhhhh all I see is "accidental" headbutts and 1 elbow. Wtf are they protesting? They didn't even lose by TKO cause of the cut, simply lost on points.

        This article is garbage and not even proof read. "protest iwith the below graph" It doesnt make any sense.

        If if they were all accidental, there is no reason for a point deduction. But I have a hard time believing that this is what Darchiniyans team turned in and only this for their appeal because it doesnt argue anything.

            WBC rules say that if a fighter is cut by an accidental, the non-cut fighter loses 1 point.

              Scorecards were a bit wide but the right guy got the decision

              It was a sloppy fight at times but thats' what you have with Darchinyan and his bull rushes plus Yamanaka length caused him to overshot his target and that's were the entanglemnts occured but accidental.. it happens..
