Comments Thread For: Team Fedchenko: Marquez Will Get Outboxed in Mexico

Ukrainian Sergey Fedchenko (30-1, 13KOs) continues to train hard for his scheduled fight against Juan Manuel Marquez (53-6-1, 39KOs) on the 14th of April at the new Arena in Mexico City. Fedchenko ran in the morning at Chapultepec, where he also did exercises and boxed for four rounds with his sparring Artem Ayvazidi, and then went to his hotel where he took a bath, had breakfast and rested. He spent the rest of the day learning about the Mexican capital. [Click Here To Read More]

WOW I actually beat P@ctards to a Marquez thread LMAO!

Fedechenko stands no chance. I picture this being similiar to Donaire vs Narvaez. A lot of running and defense from Fedechenko and a lot of stalking by Marquez. Hopefully the guy at least tries to trade. That way Marquez can score the KO for the Mexican fans in attendance.

I wouldn't even doubt this to be honest. Pac outboxed Marquez and he didn't even train as hard. Marquez had to back pedal and tried to coast his way to an easy pot shot win, which doesn't work on competent judges. If Marquez fights like he did against Pac, then he will lose.

The only guy I see outboxing Marquez is Mayweather and that was Marquez giving a bunch of advantages to Floyd. Unless this is some unknown talent from Europe, We should ee Marquez putting on another masterpiece.

All I want from Mr. Pacquiao is to be tested by WADA. That is it. I don't think that's too much to ask for. But that will never happen... Pacquiao's PED use is as obvious as Alistair Overeem's! Enough said!

Just looked this fight up online ... and their actually charging full price $54.99 for the fight! Really?!?!!? With the opponents for JMM and Rios I would think it woulda been in the $30 range.

                Stream it is....

well said, if fedchenko or whatever his name is manages to emulate either of pacquiao's strategies [be it, KD'ing marquez 4 times or outboxing him] he'll win the fight easy.

Fedchenko is obviously no pacquiao, but if he can just force marquez to backpedal all night like pac did he's gonna score loads of ring generalship points. Not sure if he has the punch power/accuracy to restructure marquez' face like pac but the damage has been done and fedchenko can take advantage of pacquiao's work to give him a better chance.
