Comments Thread For: Photos/Weights: Arthur Abraham vs. Piotr Wilczewski

The weights are in for Saturday's big super middleweight clash. Former middleweight king Arthur Abraham (33-3, 27 KOs) and Polish boxer Piotr Wilczewski (30-2, 10 KOs) met face to face at the official weigh-in for their showdown at the Sparkassen-Arena in Kiel on March 31, with the WBO's European super middleweight title at stake. Abraham came in at 76.2 kilograms [167.9-pounds], while Wilczewski was 76.1 kilograms [167.7]. Photos by Photo Wende

Looks like Abraham had an easy time to male 168. Why cant he go down to 160 anymore?

IDK but he should really consider moving back down. The Super Six already showed that 168 is too talented for him. There are plenty of good matchups at 160 that he could tak advantage of. Hope he gets a KO in this fight, because if not his career is that much more in the hole. 160 is calling his name!

That's what I told to myself. He looks quite skinny on these pictures though.

If he beats Wilczewski clearly i think he could beat Stieglitz too who is the WBO Champion at 168. He will fight Stieglitz anyway if he wins tonight. Stieglitz is german and it would be a nice interesting fight in germany. But Stieglitz is not on the "Super 6" level, not by a long shot. Hes an agressive well conditioned fighter but his defense sucks quiet a bit. Im sure Abraham would land some telling blows on that guy and Stieglitz has been stopped before. Of course Abraham wont win if hes just standing there behind his shell and doing nothing....
