Comments Thread For: Jhonny Gonzalez: First Elio Rojas, Then Orlando Salido

The world featherweight champion of the World Council of Boxing (WBC), Mexico's Jhonny González (51-7, 45KOs) is preparing for a very dangerous fight with mandatory Elio Rojas (23-1, 14KOs), scheduled for April 28th in Mexico. Gonzalez remembers when Rojas was the champion and refused to give him a shot. Rojas then suffered an injury, lost the title, and now the roles are reveresed.

One of my favorite active punchers that his chin betrays him. The Rojas fight is a tough one.

If Jhonny wins I'm aboard of him fighting Salido

      either guy can KO Gonzalez
think Rojas actually has a better chance than Salido though
hope Gonzalez beats Rojas so we can see a Salido match
      both are good fights

I'd rather he go w/Salido 1st, but both would be great but he could lose 2 both...
