    NEW YORK- HBO Sports, widely recognized for its pioneering, award-winning and distinctive storytelling productions, will launch a new boxing show hosted by four-time Sports Emmy® Award winner Jim Lampley, it was announced today by Rick Bernstein, executive producer, HBO Sports. Debuting SATURDAY, MAY 12 (midnight-12:30 a.m. ET/PT), and scheduled to appear periodically, THE FIGHT GAME WITH JIM LAMPLEY will be a provocative, engaging and informative experience that delves into intriguing storylines, newsmakers and issues that are top-of-mind in boxing. The series will also be available on HBO On Demand® and HBO GO®.

    I wouldn't watch anything Lheampley does, no matter how many awards...he's a pure AH...I watch HBO on in Spanish so , lederman, and merchant (if he's sober ) are not on...

      I like Jim Lampley. He has the voice that I really associate with boxing. Kind of how I always look for Buffer's "Let's get ready to rumble."

        lets hope they do a good job with it. they've got the muscle memory for doing well in documenting anything, particularly sports.

        it seems as if this will have a possible news angle as well, which will be a bit rough considering that they have a monetary interest in many fighters and do not in many others.

          Whoever hates Jim Lampley has no soul. THE BEST in the business along with Merchant and The Real Deal MAX! It's a delight listening to these guys call a fight.

                  I wonder if we'll be able to vote on which glasses should he wear on every episode

                  All we need now is a new run of LEGENDARY NIGHTS... but I guess they're waiting for Mayweather-Pacquiao to happen, if ever

                    I like it. A program that talk boxing On HBO. I like the new regime there so far. Hopefully they introduce new fighters to build up and talk about the buzz around them. Intrigued so far
