WBO President Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel has rejected Nathan Cleverly's announced fight against Robin Krasniqi, which promoter Frank Warren announced earlier today for April 28th. Cleverly (24-0, 11KOs) was given permission to face Tommy Karpency in February with the understanding that a mandatory defense against Dmitry Sukhotsky (18-1, 13KOs) would take place in 120 days. Sukhotsky and his management have long complained about being unable to secure their mandatory shot at the title.

Funny realy when you click on the WBO LH TITLE on Boxrec. Before Clev had the belt ,There was a Lot of fighters challenging for the title who had similar, if not worse records than Robin Krasniqi. (Dmitry Sukhotsky stands flat footed looking for bombs, Clev beats him all day btw)
Lets all be honest WBO are in bed with whoever got the more money. (Although I did think Frank Warren was on 'good' terms with the WBO)
It looks like German Promoters are getting more and more powerfull.
Having said all that I would like Clev to fight the best, and not be controled like a cash cow by Warren.

at least erdei was lineal champ when he fought his bum parade. cleverly is just a guy who was gifted a wbo belt without a title fight.
