yup its easy to call someone a coward when you are not the one getting hit in the face..its harder to doge a punch then it is to throw a punch.you get into this business to win and make money and not be brain dead when you leave.fighters are right when they say"when its over who has to take care of their family"no 1 on here would help them with 1 damn bill so yes them and their family comes first............damn right

Larry, do you support boxers who say that they should not be forced to be in fights they shouldn't be involved with because it's not good for their health, and who avoids threats for self preservation? If you do, would you still consider yourself to be a true boxing fan?

A boxer should rely on his skills to avoid getting hit, not by avoiding to fight threats to avoid getting hit. See the difference?

A boxer chose a dangerous profession and that requires courage. If he is scared of the possible pain and consequence and would duck threats to avoid these, he should pick another profession.

i can judge no man who risks his life to entertain people who turn their backs on them as soon as they think they arnt the best....a boxer is just like anyone else.wants to support their family and not get braindead in the ring entertaining a bunch of people who wont give a damn about them once they retire.nor will they help them support their family if they become disabled

I can see what you're saying, but boxing inherently is a dangerous sport and anyone who chooses to make it his profession should realize that. At the same time, it is still a sport where the ultimate objective is to see who is the best. If a boxer would not abide by that and would choose instead the less risky alternative of ducking threats, then he should find another profession.

a boxer is a wussy if he mentions that he's afraid for his health when he suspects that his opponent might be juicing? The aspect of performance enhancers can't be over looked and Floyd is playing the cards that are in his hand. Who the **** are you to call any world class fighter a wussy?..........Rockin'
