Comments Thread For: Mayweather: Cotto May Worry About Getting KO'd Again

WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) is feeling very confident about his ability to overcome Miguel Cotto (37-0, 30KOs), despite the weight limit of 154-pounds, on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather has set a goal of snatching away Cotto's WBA junior middleweight championship - which in turn would make Mayweather a two-time champ at 154. He previously held the WBC title at 154 by winning a twelve round decision over Oscar De La Hoya in 2007.

I don't think Floyd will beat Cotto so bad he gets stopped again, but it wouldn't surprise me if his face is messed up again and they stop it. I can only imagine the crap Cotto would take if he ended up quitting in this fight.

Bradley>Cotto to date.... and im a big fan of both. Cotto over Bradley in the fan dept...but still Bradley over Cotto to date.

Back to thread topic: Floyd couldnt KO little JMM when he was ther to be hit and 17lbs heavy and slow. LOL @ him thinking hed get a KO over Cotto who you have to beat down to a bloody pulp to make him take a knee or hurt him. Its gonna be the other way around...Floyds gonna feel what the canvas feels like in this fight.

Personally i like the Manny vs Bradley fight at 47, but we shouldn't all pretend like Floyd wouldn't get crucified for fighting Bradley at 147. He would be absolutely shat on by bscene and the media.

Probably, but I wouldn't. It wouldn't be competitive like Pacquiao-Bradley, but Bradley deserved to fight one of these guys IMO.

yep, apparently it's a good fight for Pacquiao though. I wonder why?
