Comments Thread For: Jorge Arce: Do Not Count Me Out Against Nonito Donaire!

WBO bantamweight champion Jorge Arce (60-6, 46KOs) has warned the critics to avoid counting him out in a possible September clash against Nonito Donaire (28-1, 18KOs), the WBO's champion at super bantamweight.

He's right... styles do make fights.... and I think yours is perfect for Donaire to use that counter left he's been dying to KO somebody with.

I'd like to c Arce win , but probably won;t, but he comes to fight...it's jut he gets hit 2 much & w/his propensity 2 cut, a lot of negatives, but still, he's got a better chance than WV2 did...

He's right...You can't count out the lolipop cowboy. I never thought I would say this after his 2009 campaign in his losing effort to the hands of The Raging Bull and complimenting retirement after that fight just to come back a couple months later and win a tittle but just to lose it shortly after to South African Nongqayi. Since then he's avenge that loss to Nongqayi and a draw to Parra.

I've heard of catching your second wind in a fight but never in a career. Jorge Arce is an example of just that. Arce will put up a great show vs Nonito and has a CHANCE to win. It's not a 50/50 chance but it's a CHANCE!

Cudo's to a classy, entertaining fighter inside and outside of the ring. And that my friends is a RARE thing in this sport.

We won't have to count you out, Jorge. The ref will do that for us.

            Donaire by stoppage.

The only one that has a chance to beat Donaire at SB is Rigo.
