Junior flyweight champion Ulises "Archie" Solis is hoping to return to the ring in the month of June. Solis is waiting to receive medical approval. Last October in Guadalajara, Solis alleges that WBC 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez attacked him over an ex-girlfriend. Solis suffered a badly broken jaw, a few bruises and several of his teeth were knocked out. A planned defense in December was cancelled. Solis had plates inserted into his jaw.

As much as I hate how the WBC protects Chavez and Alvarez, I have to agree with you. This is a man vs man issue. Solis knew exactly what he was getting into when he did what he did. Atleast that's what it seems like.
