My only comment for this thread is that Mosley should NOT be a consideration.

        Why?

Because Mosley has been largely ineffective at 154lbs. His biggest win was against DLH. Even Mora gave him a match at that weight.

Shane should regroup and rise at WW if he still has it in himself.

The Mosley fight is crap. I don't care about the fact that he was crap against Mayweather Jr and Pacquiao, but what bothers me the most is that he was crap against Mora. Canelo right now is better than Mora and IMO Canelo vs Mosley won't do anything other than add a name to Canelo's record.

Saying that, I think we're actually going to get this fight. Delvin is too dangerous, he was pretty good against Wolak and completely outboxed him. Also he looks a lot stronger at the 154 division, actually he was very close to KO Wolak on his last fight.

But you can't tell us, as consumers, to stop demanding the fights we want to see because the promoters have to make as much money as possible. These guys are getting too attached to their fighters and keep trying to make them something they aren't. If Canelo isn't yet the best fighter at 154, then don't declare him champion because by definition, he should be fighting the guys who've earned their shot by fighting through the competition in that division.

Boxing is a business and as long as they put forth a quality product, provide good fights for the fans, and give us some closure as far as who the best in a division is, there will be money to be made. Unfortunately, the promoters promise all these kids the world and then have to live up to it by over-protecting them -- in turn, we don't ever find out who the best is and we're left arguing in circles about who would beat whom if they were ever left no choice and had to fight each other.
green!!! ....thats some "grown man" talk right there....kids don't speak that language

Rodriguez deserves this fight. Canelo needs to step it up to silence his critics and prove them right! Canelo wins imo if they make it happen.
