Both Byrd and Lewis were contemplating defeat huh? Says who? And you've felt the need to lump Vitaly in with his brother many times when excusing him for not going after a Byrd rematch. So what does that make you, a nuthugger, a layman, an excuse maker or a combination of the three?

Check you out... son... Lewis plopping on his stool immediately after he shot his load was contemplating victory or the nearest oxygen tank? Trust me your boy was dying for someone to call the fight on cuts so he wouldn't have to go back out there. And what about the fact that it was VITALI who was the last man standing in the ring while Lewis was on his stool.. long before Vitali got to his.. yet Lewis gets awarded the W when he REALLY til this day has never proven beyond a shadow of doubt that he was ready.. willing & waiting to go onto rd 7. Vitali was the one who demonstrated more willingness to go on to rd 7 right after rd 6 ended & for the past 8 & a half yrs. Yet the guy who hasn't shown a willingness to go onto rd 7 gets the W. iF this is how the boxing commision determines boxing matches & who wins or loses... then Vitali should have his dfeat to Byrd overturned.. afterall he's NEVER FELT THE NEED to go onto the 10th rd of that bout.

What don't you get about the brothers being brothers. Just think of them as twins with different DNA & differing weaknesses & strengths. It's the KLITSCHKO name brand that i'm defending & i'm open about Wlad's deficiencies. Sometimes when i'm defending Vitali... Wlad has to be included to show that the Klitschko name brand as a whole is dominant. It's called Klitschko pride but you wouldn't know anything about that & i include there flaws & blemishes. Boxing is hit and don't be hit. Vitaly just didn't want to look like a fool and a quitter again. Watch Vitali at the end of the sixth round holding onto Lewis for dear life. He didn't even have it in him to move out of the way from that last punch Lewis threw. Lucky for Vitali, it missed. Vitali would have gone on to get knocked out in the next two rounds. That's exactly why they stopped it, because they knew his little run was over. Lewis by brutal knock out, Vitali on the floor twitching.
