    Yoan Pablo Hernandez (26-1, 13 KOs) defended his IBF Cruiserweight Title with a spectacular points victory over Steve Cunningham (24-4, 12 KOs) in Frankfurt on Saturday night. The pattern was similar to their first meeting last October, with Cunningham fighting back after two knock-downs in the fourth round. After an exciting fight, Hernandez was ahead 116-110, 116-110 and 115-111 on the scorecards.

    i thought hernandez was by far the classier fighter, well until he got tired that is and even then not bad, but DAMN cunningham deserves some real respect for coming back from the brink like that AGAIN and actually making it a real good fight!

      Hernandez is a beast. I remember when he was being counted out after his loss vs Braithwaite.

        I think Hernandez still has to improve, especially since after the 2 knock downs he lost the next 3 or 4 rounds, he tends to get tired pretty early in the fight and gets way too passive at some moments. If he's able to maintain his work rate through the entire fight, then he's going to be an extremely solid boxer.

          props and cong**** to Hernandez....Steve fought his ass off.....even though he came up short I'm still proud of the way he got himself back together after those 2 knockdowns.....good job by BOTH fighters!!....I won't be suprised if Troy Ross beats Juan Pablo next....I just have a feeling that Troy's time is now....I just have that feeliing!!
