Boxing superstar Floyd "Money" Mayweather will return to the ring, step up in weight and challenge three-division World Champion Miguel Cotto for his WBA Super Welterweight World title in what will be a gargantuan showdown between two future Hall of Famers who bring excitement and fierce competition every time they step into the ring. Mayweather vs. Cotto will take place on Saturday, May 5 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be televised live on pay-per-view.

This is so awesome, I'm so glad this fight got made, props to Floyd for stepping up and fighting him at 154. I got May by lopsided decision, but I'm hoping Cotto can pull off a miracle.

Wow, the impact one man can do to the sport. Floyd - Cotto has been asked for years and never delivered. Some can say duck, some can say scared from both sides yet all it took was for Cotto to become a Free Agent and this fight gets done within weeks. FU Bob Arum!! Thats all I have to say!!

He COULD, but as I've said a million time before, I'm not sure if at this stage of his career
Cotto can really beat Mayweather. I felt his best chance was back when he had beaten Mosley and Judah, I'm sure Cotto can still make it competitive with his pressure, size, power, and body punching, but overall I think Mayweather's superior boxing ability and conditioning are what's going to decide this fight, especially in the later rounds.

Very good fight!!! Thank god it's with cotto & not the ghost, Canelo ect. Floyd has even out doing PAC in competition level lately & he's asking for Miguel to come in drained.
