A judge in Managua dismissed a defamation suit that was filed against World Boxing Association (WBA) junior flyweight champion Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez (30-0, 25KOs). The lawsuit was filed by the wife of Gonzalez, Doņa Raquel. She had perviously accused Gonzalez of domestic violence, and then sued the boxer for defamation because he claimed that she had been unfaithful, which she denies. Gonzalez made his American debut last October at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. He stopped Mexico's Omar Soto in quick two rounds. Gonzalez wants to face one of the other champions in 2012.
