    Northern Quest Casino, Airway Heights, Washington - In a ten round brawl, Ji-Hoon Kim (23-7, 18KOs) won a gusty ten round unanimous decision over Yakubu Amidu (20-3, 18KOs). The scores were 96-94, 98-92 and 97-93.

    Teddy Atlas was right about the Provodnikov fight being a mismatch. He destroyed David Torres. I didn't think Yakuba Amidu was going to make it the the last round from the way Ji-Hoon Kim was snapping his head back from those punches he was landing on him through the fight.

          Yeah. A few times in the fight, it looked like Kim's opponent's head was going to snap right off. Good, entertaining fight.
